When I was asked to include a comic for the Sugar Ninjas anthology, I had a hard time figuring out what to do. Eventually I decided I’d draw a story about my pet rabbits. If I didn’t, my bunnies would have revolted and there would have been a coup. A bunny coup (which is the best kind of coup, but still a coup to be avoided).  In addition to the bunny story, my other contributions to the SUGAR NINJAS books are samples from work I did while I was still in college.

Oh, yeah! I graduated from the Savannah College of Art and Design in 2006, earning a BFA degree in Sequential Art. Later that year, I was privileged to be asked to illustrate Tokyopop’s LEGENDS  OF THE DARK CRYSTAL: THE GARTHIM WARS, which was an amazing experience (the sequel volume is due out in the spring/summer of 2010).  In 2008 I contributed artwork for a story titled “Inalienable Rights” (written by fellow SCAD SEQA alumnus Nate Bowden) which was included in STAR TREK THE MANGA UCHU, Tokyopop’s third  STAR TREK manga collection. I look forward to seeing where my career takes me as the years pass.
